Alt Seasson in Play - Bitcoin should underperorm most alt coins.While BTC has been the dominant crypto-currency in both capitalization and percentage growth, we expect this to change in the short term, or the so-called "alt season" appears to be in its very early stages. Bitcoin's dominance registered a temporary high near 73 and we are now likely headed back towards the prior fourth-wave low of 52 (chart 1). Meanwhile, alt's dominance likely completed a downside correction near 5 and it is now headed to new highs in wave ((5)) - a terminal move. During this wave, we expect many of the altcoins to outperform bitcoin. If prices are rising, alts should rise faster than bitcoin and vice versa. Tip: The coins with the largest cap usually have the highest liquidity, which is key if you want to trade the market. What good it is if you have a winner but cannot liquidate your position. several technical reasons for growth 📈I forgot to mention altcoins in my Bitcoin forecast. 1.First og all, it’s worth to note that the monthly Bitcoin chart indicates a rapid growth, which means that in general the market segment will grow 2. altcoin dominance chart looks bullish too and technically we have: 1. confident rebound from a strong support zone ✔ 2. DEATH CROSS SOON ON ALTCOINS DOMINANCEthe top 10 alts excluding btc seem to experience a death cross soon. Death cross is always LAGGING, meaning that when it happens, the movement most likely already occurred (otherwise that would not be a death cross). Note that this is not a real death cross as the 200MA is positively sloped. Anyway the 50 one will likely go below it, after it breaks below the 100 as it is doing now. What does it mean? The dominance decreases, meaning that they lose market share compared to btc: if it goes down, alts go down more. Can they go up less if btc increases? No, mrkt dominance for alts decreases only in bearish times, as when btc goes up it remains steady or increases due to euphoria on the crypto world. This reinforces the previous idea (linked below) of an imminent retracement.
