Primary advisor
BMO Asset Management, Inc.
The fund aims to provide monthly cash distributions, with the potential for long-term capital appreciation through a strategic asset allocation strategy via other BMO ETFs. These ETFs offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of income-bearing investments, including common equities, preferred shares, fixed income securities and trust units. In allocating its exposure, the fund manager considers average market valuations across regions, sectors and asset classes, relative economic conditions, and any perceived downside risks. Equity funds are expected to make up 60% of the holdings as compared to the 40% occupied by fixed income funds. Alternatively, the fund may also obtain its exposure by directly investing in equity and fixed income securities, other investment funds, ADRs or derivatives. The fund's risk profile is based on the BMO ETFs returns and a blend of the returns of the S&P/TSX Capped Composite Total Return Index and FTSE Canada Universe Bond Index.
