Description:
On the 15-minute BTCUSDT chart, I’m currently directionally neutral—I need the market to tip its hand before engaging.
94,722.9 USDT – If bulls attempt another breakout, demand must punch through this level. No passivity here—if buyers show up strong, I’ll look for confirmation to join a bullish continuation.
91,631.5 USDT – This is my bull/bear S/R inflection level. If the market slides back into this zone, I’m watching for bearish momentum to reclaim dominance.
Current stance: Structure is rebuilding for a potential long breakout, but I am aggressively watching for proof—no chasing shadows. Until I get a clear reaction at either of these levels, I remain flat, patient, sniper-focused.
The trap zones are set. This is a textbook wait-and-react environment. No bias, no emotion—clarity comes from structure + liquidity + reaction.

Phase 1: New Moon – System ResetDoctrine:
The New Moon represents darkness and renewal. In this phase, the trader’s mind is cleared to a state of impartiality – a “beginner’s mind” empty of bias. Just as the night sky is moonless, the operator holds no active trades and no attachment to any market direction. This is the psychological reset after a completed cycle, whether it be a day’s session or after closing a major position. The New Moon phase is steeped in humility and introspection: the warrior returns to the void. He channels Musashi’s concept of emptiness – acknowledging that he knows nothing for certain about the next move and thus must observe with fresh eyes. Any ego built from recent wins or frustration from losses is consciously released. In this quiet, reflective state, the trader revisits core principles and performs a self-check: Is my mindset centered? Is my strategy updated for current market conditions? Sun Tzu taught that victory is to be planned in the temple before war; the New Moon is that planning temple time, where the operator ensures he’s psychologically and tactically ready for the battles to come.
Playbook:
Practically, the New Moon phase involves standing down from trading and focusing on maintenance and preparation. The trader goes flat (if he wasn’t already) – no positions, no risk exposure. He might spend this phase reviewing recent performance and journal notes, extracting lessons without emotion. If it’s the start of a trading day or week, he calibrates his tools: updating levels from the higher timeframes (support/resistance zones, volume nodes, key order blocks), and notes any new fundamental or market context shifts. This is when he runs system checks on his indicators or algorithms, ensuring alignment with current data—verifying, for example, that his SMC indicator code functions as intended.
It’s also a time to reset the physical environment: restarting the trading station, clearing distracting clutter, perhaps making a fresh cup of coffee, or engaging in a brief meditation to sharpen focus. No trade is placed during the New Moon; patience is absolute. From a market standpoint, this phase might correspond to periods when conditions are unclear or choppy—the system might deliberately enforce a cooldown period, such as after a streak of trades, taking a mandated 15-minute break, or avoiding the volatile initial minutes of a major news release. In terms of timing alignment, New Moon might coincide with the pre-session or post-session periods when the optimal action is strategic inaction.
The operator also uses this time to visualize upcoming scenarios: like a general devising battle plans, he imagines how the next phase might unfold. “If price reaches X level and trap conditions appear, I will execute Y.” By the end of the New Moon phase, the trader and his system are refreshed and poised, waiting for the first hints of opportunity to emerge from the darkness.
