DRNZ tracks an index of global drone companies listed on developed market exchanges. These companies have at least 50% of their assets and derive at least 50% of their revenues from drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), manufacturing, or enabling technology. The index is a modified market cap-weighted index, allocating 80% to pureplay drone companies and 20% to diversified companies or those having at least 20% of assets and revenues from drones or UAV technologies, or are identified as a defense company with a division or program designated for research and development of drones and UAVs. The index applies a 15% weighting cap for each pureplay company, while diversified companies have a 5% cap per constituent. The Index is rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly.
