It operates through the following segments: Truck and Trailer Equipment, Mobile Thermal Solutions, Ringfeder Power Transmission, and Groupwide. The Truck and Trailer Equipment segment supplies systems to customers in the truck industry and includes the brands VBG and Ringfeder for coupling equipment and Onspot. The Mobile Thermal Solutions segment refers to the supply of complete climate control systems for commercial motor vehicles through its Mobile Climate Control and Bus Climate Control brands. The Ringfeder Power Transmission segment includes the Ringfeder, Henfel, Carlyle Johnson, and Rathi brands. The company was founded by Herman Krefting on January 3, 1951 and is headquartered in Trollhättan, Sweden.
