Seibu Holdings, Inc. engages in the management and general control of its group of companies. It operates through the following segments: Urban Transportation and Regional, Hotel and Leisure, Real Estate, Construction, Hawaii Business, and Other. The Urban Transportation and Regional segment handles railway, buses, and taxis operations. The Hotel and Leisure segment deals with the management of hotels, golf courses, ski resorts, and aquariums. The Real Estate segment manages stores I train stations, destination-type shopping malls, and large-scale developments such as Tokyo Garden Terrace Kiocho and Daiya Gate Ikebukuro. The Construction segment provides construction services for railway lines and hotel renovations. The Hawaii Business segment operates hotels and golf courses in Hawaii. The Other segment deals with businesses in Izu-Hakone and areas around Lake Biwa. It also manages the Saitama Seibu Lions baseball team. The company was founded on February 3, 2006 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
