PremiumBitcoin looks bullish to me. Based on the depth of the cup and handle, I've put a conservative technical target. I think BTC is going to 50K before any lower lows (if any). Possibly 30K is support but we may not need to test it again.
Lots of sell pressure going on in Bitcoin, but I'm bullish. I think a lot of the bad news has hit and China or Elon can't do anything else to cause more selling. Maybe we dip into the 20s, but I don't think we last there for long. My base case is that we are still in a bull market and we are ready to break to the upside. If we lose the support, watch out below.
The bears have had multiple opportunities to take it under 30k and they haven't. BTC Looks Bullish to me after this breakout, retest and resumption.
This is the chart I'm tracking. I'm neutral on the sidelines to see how this turns out. I think we will know soon.
Have you been shorting this bull market wondering why you're not winning? I've been getting direct messages asking me when is it a good time to short or why when there is a reversal candle there is no follow through to the downside. Zooming out to the 2 day chart I think you can see why. We are in a massive uptrend channel since early last year right after the...
Happy New Year to everyone! What will the markets do in 2021? Will we be up or down for the year? I have no idea what will happen this year except that I think we will continue to see big moves to the upside and downside. I would also not be surprised if we have another black swan event. The equity markets continue to be risky so be very careful trading this...
It's the last week of the year and it looks like the market will be making a move here soon. Price is in an uptrend but consolidating inside a wedge pattern. This means price is building energy and ready to make a move to the upside or downside. Since it's difficult to predict, I would wait on the sideline until confirmation. The trend is your friend until the...
We've made it to the last two weeks of the year which has traditionally been called the 'Santa Clause Rally' because markets tend to rise during this time (usually because of low volume). Will we see a 'Santa Clause Rally' this year? The first thing that really sticks out in the chart is that we are in a strong upward trend. The trend is your friend until the...
S&P Analysis Week of 12/13/2020: Will Selling Continue? Will the S&P continue to sell off this week or will it make new all time highs? There has been a lot of whiplash and volatility over the year and last week was another good example. How many people thought they were in a good trade making profit only for the market to come back and take it away and...
As of this post, AMD has provided 2 recent buy entry with the latest occurring last week. I use support/resistance lines instead of complicated chart patterns and indicators (they are generally lagging and provide false signals). I never play the breakout and always wait for the retest and resumption (breakouts are a losing man's trade because they generally...
The S&P had a good week considering that for most of the week it went sideways to slightly creeping up. Always be weary of creeping markets (they can either stall out and reverse fast or pop to the upside out of nowhere). Are we headed for another leg up (for a potential melt up), are we going to cool-off this week? I do not try to guess which way the market will...
Now that a shortened Thanksgiving trading week is over, are markets ready to move? As of this posting (with one more trading session in the Month), November has been a great month for bulls (10%+ returns) and even with a shortened week last week, the market still put in a nice 2.3% weekly gain. In general, the S&P is very bullish. Look at the monthly, weekly,...
How will the shortened trading week affect the markets? It's Thanksgiving week in the U.S. and that means markets will be closed on Thursday, a shortened trading session on Wednesday and usually a light volume day on Friday. The meat of the trading week will most likely come on Monday & Tuesday. Anything can happen though so just be ready for any volatility this...
Will the market make new all time highs or will it dump and start its correction leg lower? Last week the market made NEW all time highs after pulling back. The week ended green and price spent most of the trading sessions consolidating (building energy for the next leg up or down). This week the variables are much simpler than previous weeks. My bias is more...
Who is the newly elected President of the United States? How does that impact the markets? As of this posting, we don't know who the elected U.S. President is. Even if a winner is declared, it is most likely going to be contested. This week there are many variables a. One important variable is the consolidation that price is making in a triangle wedge. We are...
EURGBP has formed a nice smooth bullish channel. This would be a buy unless the channel breaks.
CNX has been in a downtrend since August but it's coming into major support at $8.35. It has also been consolidating since early this year. Consolidation = energy. The longer the consolidation, the bigger the energy released will be to the northern or southern direction. Cannot predict which way the energy will be released. Trade setup 1 (long): Break and...
This is the week of the presidential elections in the United States. How will the election madness impact the stock market? If you want to know exactly what happens during this week, you came to the wrong place. Sorry. What I do know is that there is the potential for two very profitable trade setups. Similar to last week, I believe price is consolidating to...
